Gold Coast Mobile OT Service Area
Youth OT is a mobile occupational therapy provider supporting clients across northern, central and southern Gold Coast communities. We do not operate from a fixed Gold Coast clinic. Instead, appointments are arranged in locations connected to the client’s everyday routines, goals and participation.
Service availability depends on the client’s location, support needs, appointment requirements and current therapist capacity. Our team will confirm whether suitable travel and scheduling arrangements are available during the initial enquiry.

How Gold Coast Appointment Availability Is Determined
Client location
The client’s suburb and proposed appointment setting help determine whether the location can be included within an existing therapist’s travel area.
Therapist matching
Availability depends on finding an occupational therapist whose experience, schedule and travel area are appropriate for the client’s needs.
Appointment setting
Home, school, early-learning and community visits each involve different access and scheduling considerations. The proposed setting will be discussed during the enquiry process.
Travel arrangements
As Youth OT is a mobile service, provider travel may apply where permitted. Proposed travel time, non-labour travel costs and other service arrangements will be explained before services commence.
Where Mobile OT Appointments May Take Place
Home visits
Home appointments may support daily routines, self-care, mealtime participation, sensory needs, household activities and independence within the client’s usual environment.
School and early-learning visits
With appropriate consent and approval from the education setting, appointments may address participation in classroom routines, play, learning activities, regulation and functional skills.
Community appointments
Community-based sessions may support practical skills, social participation, community access and greater independence in everyday activities.
Telehealth
Telehealth may be considered where it is clinically and practically appropriate for the client’s goals, needs and circumstances.
